SAY CHEESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Say Cheese! 4th Graders Dive Into the World of Cheese Making
Our 4th-grade class recently embarked on a delicious journey into the world of cheese! As part of their science and social studies lessons, students explored the history and process of cheese making—learning about cultures (both historical and bacterial!), the role of enzymes, and the art of aging cheese. After diving into the science behind curds and whey, the grand finale was a Cheese Tasting Extravaganza!
Students sampled a variety of cheeses, from mild mozzarella to sharp cheddar, creamy brie to tangy blue cheese. They compared textures, flavors, and aromas while discussing what made each cheese unique. Some adventurous students even discovered new favorites! This hands-on (and mouth-on!) experience was a fantastic way to bring learning to life—one bite at a time!
